Deer Hunting

Northeast Missouri has Trophy Whitetail Deer hunting and ranks as the #7 state in the nation according to Pope & Young record books. Due to the high agriculture in the area and quality management, Missouri has some very nice Trophy Deer to be taken. We will offer you the opportunity to take the trophy of your dreams. Archery hunts start the middle of September and run to the first weekend of November. Hunts then open back up after rifle season. Please call for actual dates.

Permits can be purchased over the counter or online from the Missouri department of conservation. Hunts will include lodging, meals, stands, and field transportation. We will do everything we can to ensure a quality hunt, but we can’t control the weather.

IMG00257.jpgWe have an intense, ongoing management program on 2000 acres for all species of wildlife on our farm. All deer hunts are fair chase, no fenced hunting. The farm is partially river bottom, agriculture ground with hardwood hills, along with agriculture crops we put numerous food plots consisting of corn, beans, milo, sunflowers, clover, and winter wheat.

mail.jpgOur farm is under a trophy management program which includes aggressive doe harvest and 130" minimum on bucks. We try to keep our buck to doe ration at 3 - 1. Bucks commonly score 130" to 160" and averaged dressed weight of 180 lbs. and bigger. Only trophy bucks are taken and all hunts have a strict minimum antler score. We primarily focus on bow hunts but we do take a limited number of rifle hunters each year. Stand sties are selected on current feeding, travel, and rut patterns.
